A Long Awaited Update

Well, it's been a long time since I have updated this blog. I thought today I would.
I have had a pretty decent holiday weekend. I can't believe it's almost over. I had a great Fourth of July. Went on a picnic by myself and had a nice time. I watched fireworks out my window on Friday night and watched the CBS coverage of the Boston Pops Fourth celebration.
In about nine days, I'm going to my Mom's for a nice break. I love the city, but I love going to the country. I'm originally from the country, and I loved growing up there, but I like the convenience of being in the city. I do enjoy going to the country from time to time, because the city can be stressful. I know when I go to my Mom's I'll be sleeping better. I find I sleep better when I am at my Mom's.
I can't wait to see my cousin from Colorado. She's seven years younger than me, which was a disadvantage growing up, because she used to bug me. But now that she's older I find that she and I are closer. She's so much fun to hang out with. I wish she lived closer though.
My aunt (my cousin's Mom and my Mom's sister) got a Prius. I hope I get to ride in it. I think the Prius is a cool car. So now my Mom has a Mini Cooper and my aunt has a Prius. Both are good cars to save gas. *lol*
